Saw some other guys out further up the coast from where I sailed beforre
and it looked a much better spot so headed up there, it was a beach break
as well so didnt have problems with the nasty shore dump getting out.
Had to first of all patch up my sail and then got out there as everyone was
just coming off the water. Was quite a decent session however I really
struggled gybing my slalom board. The rails on it are pretty sharp so it
bounces all over the place in the chop on carving. Was still quite gusty
but the swell had died down so was much more enjoyable than todays earlier
session. To top it off, there were 4 real hot beach babes in bikinis rowing
a boat a few hundred metres out from the shoreline practising for some comp
I think.
Just wish I had proper wave gear and I'd be loving this place. If only I
had loadsa money.
